Dr. Samuel J. Laurencin, M.D. Ph.D. serves as the Chief of Orthopedics at Waterbury Hospital and is a key orthopedic surgeon at NOSS (Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics & Spine Specialists, P.C.) in Waterbury, CT. He is fellowship-trained in adult joint reconstruction, offering advanced care in total and partial joint replacements, minimally invasive techniques, regenerative medicine, and general orthopedic trauma.

During his residency training at the University of Connecticut, Dr. Laurencin served as chief resident. He then completed an adult reconstruction fellowship at Harvard University—Massachusetts General Hospital, the nation’s oldest continuous arthroplasty training program.
