Dr. Frederick J. Watson is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of experience treating sports injuries, joint pain, rotator cuff tears, arthritis, and fractures. Practicing at NOSS (Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics & Spine Specialists, P.C.) and affiliated with Waterbury Hospital, he specializes in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, elbow, and ankle, as well as non-surgical treatment options tailored to each patient’s needs.He earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, completed his residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center, and pursued fellowship training in sports medicine at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Watson is a respected member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and Connecticut Orthopaedic Society.Dr. Watson proudly serves the Greater Waterbury community, blending clinical excellence with compassionate, individualized care.
