Dr. Eric Hintz is an accomplished Neurosurgeon with six years of post-training experience. He received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Medicine, completed his residency in Neurosurgery at the University of Rochester, and obtained his fellowship in Surgical Neuro-Oncology at Northshore University Hospital. He also served as Chief of Neurosurgery at San Antonio Military Medical Center during his Army active-duty service commitment. In addition, he is a published researcher in major medical journals and is ABNS board certified.
Dr. Hintz approaches patients with a concern for their best chance of an improved quality of life. He stays informed on new neurosurgical options and remains proficient in steadfast treatments. From initial consult to final post-op appointment, Dr. Hintz provides clear communication, informed decision-making, and skilled surgical care. Dr. Hintz will be practicing at Alliance Medical Group in Middlebury and at Eastern Connecticut Health Network.

Dr. Hintz spends his time away from the office with his wife and college sweetheart exploring their shared love of world cuisines, outdoor activities, and community engagement while raising their five delightful children together.
