Yolima Salazar, M.D.

Dr. Yolima Salazar specializes in infectious diseases.
Dr. Salazar received her medical degree from Universidad de Antioquia in Medellin, Colombia. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Saint John’s Episcopal Hospital in New York. Following, Dr. Salazar completed a postdoctoral fellowship in infectious diseases at Saint Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York.
Dr. Salazar has been practicing medicine since 2000. Dr. Salazar is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Services include diagnosis and treatment of individuals with diseases caused by infectious agents, bacteria, viruses, fungi or parasites. They include diagnosis and treatment of HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and C, Endocarditis, bone and joint infections, travel medicine..
